Canadian beauty giant M.A.C Cosmetics has teamed up with Canadian musician Kiesza for a four-piece makeup collection. Two of the products, Big Brow Pencil in Cork and Liquidlast Liner in Point Black, are the singer’s longtime favourite from the brand. The lip products, a Vamplify Lip Gloss and lipstick, are both ’90s-esque “vampy brown” shades – a throwback to the era when the company began it’s meteoric rise – and feature prominently in her new work. “My passion for music translated well into my makeup collaboration,” explains the Calgary-born artist. “So much so that my Lipstick in Dearly Beloved is also the name of my new single and I’m wearing the shade in my new music video.”

“Makeup serves the same purpose as fashion to me,” says Kiesza. “It’s a form of expression that allows me to display externally, what I’m feeling beneath the surface. It’s like an extension of my personality. My face and body become the canvas as I turn myself into my own ever-changing works of art. As I wander through each day, the world is my gallery.”

The collection launches in-store a month today, on February 9th.
